CHICAGO – The Union League Boys & Girls Clubs and the Respect 90 Foundation proudly present an exclusive night of fun, dinner and cocktails, baseball and Chicago history and most importantly philanthropy, “Dinner & Fireside Chat with Chicago Cubs Manager Joe Maddon” on Tuesday, January 15th at the Union League Club. Chicago Cubs broadcaster Jim DeShaies will host the Fireside Chat with Joe Maddon. This special event is open to the public.

Attendees will enjoy dinner followed by Maddon speaking candidly about his experiences in baseball and life. Individual tickets are $250 and tables of 10 are $5,000. Table purchasers will also receive 2 tickets to the exclusive VIP reception with Maddon prior to the main event. Individual ticket buyers may also purchase raffle tickets for $100 each for the chance to attend the VIP reception with Maddon.

“Partnering with Respect 90 and having the inspiring Joe Maddon celebrate our 100th anniversary is a dream come true,” said Craig Labus, Union League Boys & Girls Clubs Board President. “Both nonprofits believe in empowering our next generation of leaders, no matter what it takes.  It’s a winning team effort.”

Respect 90 provides children and families opportunities to develop championship attitudes through sports, academics and community involvement. In 2015,  Maddon and his wife, Jaye, formed the Respect 90 Foundation. Respect 90 seeks to provide children and families opportunities to develop championship attitudes through sports, academics, and community involvement in all the places they call home: Chicago, IL, Tampa, FL, Mesa, AZ and Maddon’s hometown of Hazleton, PA.

“I consider it a great honor to have a role in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Union League Boys and Girls Clubs, an organization so critical to our city,” said Joe Maddon.

The Union League Boys & Girls Clubs is a separate organization than the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago.  Both are chartered by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. For more information on the nonprofit, please visit  www.ulbgc.org.
